How can I create a new profile on Re-marriage.com?
Creating your profile on Re-marriage.com is fast, easy and absolutely FREE. All you need to do is fill in our Member Registration form. There after your Re-marriage.com Profile information will be updated and will be online and accessible to all Re-marriage.com members and visitors.

How do I edit my profile?
To edit your profile follow the simple steps:

Edit your personal profile according to the instructions provided and click the 'Submit' button at the end of the form. |

You can change most of the information in your profile. However, there are some items (e.g. your date of birth, gender, marital status and religion) which can be changed only in exceptional circumstances. This too can be done only on request to Customer Support, supported by valid reason(s) and/or necessary evidence. |

My matrimonial profile is only partially visible. Why?
Whenever you create a new profile or you modify certain information in your profile, the profile is screened by the Customer Support team of Re-marriage.com. During the screening process, only your essential information is displayed. Once the screening process is completed (usually within 24 hours) your profile will be completely visible to everybody. If any modifications are required then you will be informed immediately by e-mail. Profiles are screened to ensure that they follow the terms of use of Re-marriage.com and to protect your privacy. So if you have recently created a new profile or modified your profile then we request you to be patient; your profile will be fully visible very soon. |

What are the Re-marriage.com profile screening guidelines?
Our Customer Support Team reviews each and every profile, paying careful attention to the free text description of your profile, to increase your chances of meeting quality matches. Profiles and images found with vulgar, obscene and with overly sexual material will be dealt with in one of two ways. Material that is blatantly offensive will be deleted without notice. Members with profiles containing marginal or ambiguous material will be notified of our concern and given a chance to change the content. We may reject profiles for one or more of these reasons:

Abusive language, including obscenity, vulgarity, racism, illegal activity, etc. |

Any direct contact information, including email addresses, URLs, ICQ/instant messenger IDs, phone numbers, full names, addresses, etc. |
|
Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material. |
|
Solicitations for business or any other purpose. |
|
The profile must be written in English so that our team is able to screen the profile. |

Overt solicitation for sex or descriptions of sexual activity, anatomy, etc. |
We do not correct for spelling errors and incorrect grammar since we believe that that reflects the individual's personality and should not be edited. We however caution that it may put off some people, leading some readers to believe that you have poor English or that you are not serious about making a good impression and hence not serious about finding a partner. So we recommend that you please take care to use correct grammar and spellings in your descriptions. That's not to say that you must have a formal write-up. Feel free to display your individual style, personality and even humor in this section.

There are several things you can do to improve your chances of getting contacted.

Add upto 3 photographs to your profile. This is the single most effective step you can take to generate high viewership and also be featured in "Photos only" search results. |

Follow the instructions and select the number of days for which you want to hide your profile and click the 'Submit' button to hide your profile immediately. |

Under My Profile click the "Hide/Delete Profile" option and select Delete Profile.

Follow the instructions and give us the reason for deleting profile and click the 'Yes' button to delete your profile immediately. |
Please note that selecting the delete option will permanently delete your profile. If you are seeking to hide it temporarily since you are currently busy or you think you may have met someone but are not sure yet, please use the Hide Profile feature instead.

What is "Activity Factor"?
Activity Factor indicates how active a member is on Re-marriage.com. This is calculated based on the member's past response pattern - ie, of responding to open interests by either accepting or declining.
To keep your Activity Factor as high as 100%, you need to check and respond to the interests you receive regularly. This improves your Activity Factor (an indication of how well you interact on the site) keeping you high in other's search results. At times you may not be interested in declining members but this members has summoned the courage to contact you so it is courteous to make the effort to reply by declining them. After all, you have nothing to lose.
